Your Greatest Luxury Fashion Options For Christmas

01/11/2023
by Admin Admin

If anyone needed a sign that Christmas is approaching, there are many to be seen; the

bunting appearing in shops just as all the Halloween stuff comes down, the sight of
Christmas market stalls being assembled in city centres and, of course, the big stores
launching their now traditional Christmas ads.
In the latter case, Marks & Spencer has been notable for its focus on clothing in its fashion
and home ad. It has pushed the boat out with both its outfits and the use of celebrities to
promote them, including Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Hannah Waddingham and Tan France.
While it’s true that M&S is towards the upper end of the market, one might ask whether its
fashion wares truly qualify as ‘luxury’. After all, this is a brand that has a mass appeal and
offers all sorts of different goods. It may be asking a lot to try to match up to the best that’s
out there.
Nonetheless, assuming that M&S has its finger on the fashion pulse (which it has notoriously
failed to do in the past, making this a big issue for them), the range appears to have a focus
on a lot of dark colours. Black is particularly prominent, but Yahoo’s analysis of the range
shows plenty of dark red, green, silver and blue in there too.
So, assuming dark but shiny colours are in, we might look at a fashion marketplace website
to see what is on offer from our luxury brands in this area.
If dark colours are your priority, then Diamonds N Dresses offers a range of great sleek,
black dresses, but some of these are shorter ones, so if you are buying them with Christmas
in mind, it is important to note these will be purchased with an eye to the warmer weather of
spring onwards, not winter.
However, for a longer, sleek look the wrap-front dress in black or the one-shoulder navy blue
will turn plenty of heads this Christmas.
Looking at other black options, you could try the skirt with ruffles from Judy Green, while the
Marli Dresses Midnight Black outfit could work wonderfully at any time of the year. Its
sleeveless character may make it suitable for warmer months, but worn with something else
underneath, it could offer part of a superb combination in this festive season.
Of course, it is something of a punt to say that the dresses that will be most in fashion over
Christmas and the New Year will be black. That’s not just because there will always be a
divergence of opinion on what will be ‘in’ for any season or year, with no two experts
agreeing, but because many will want to go for a bright and colourful look.
If you want to try something different, why not a Judy Green tweed skirt? Its combination of
colours is close enough to tartan to provide a brighter alternative that would be perfectly
appropriate for Hogmanay, or even singing Auld Lang Syne when New Year arrives.

The big store Christmas ads may capture a few headline snow, but there could be much
more stylish options out there for you this festive season.
